Driver flees after three people injured in crash

A search has been launched for a driver who fled the scene of a serious crash which left three people in need of hospital treatment.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after the collision between a white Dacia and a black Range Rover on the A46 Gloucester Road, near Upper Swainswick, at 15:06 BST.

Three people, who were inside the Dacia, were taken to hospital while the driver of the Range Rover left the scene.

The A46 is currently closed between its junctions with London Road and the A420 while investigations are under way at the scene.

Police have also asked anyone with dash-cam footage of either vehicle to get in touch.
