Police have separated groups of youths following "mass disorder" around a train and bus station in Fife.

Officers were called to Aberdour at about 18:00 on Tuesday evening after reports of young people fighting.

Several youths were searched before the groups dispersed. Police Scotland said officers would now be examining footage from body worn cameras.

Insp Gordon Stanford said the youths' behaviour "would not be tolerated," adding those involved in criminal acts would be "traced and held accountable".
