A woman in her 40s has died following a single-vehicle road crash in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire Police said officers were called to the A338 near Collingbourne Ducis at about 15:20 BST on Wednesday after receiving calls about a Mini Cooper that had left the road and rolled onto its roof while travelling north.

Police said the driver was declared dead at the scene while the passenger, a man in his 30s, was injured but not seriously.

The road was closed for accident investigation work, but has since reopened.

Anybody who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage has been asked to contact police.
