A woman has been jailed for three years and six months after a man was found with suspected stab wounds in a Lincolnshire village.

The man was taken to hospital after officers were called to a property on Dixon Place, Dunholme, at about 20:00 BST on 1 April.

Mia Mcilwee, 41, of Dixon Place, Dunholme, appeared before Lincoln Crown Court on Friday for a Newton hearing, used when a defendant has pleaded guilty to an offence, but the prosecution and defence disagree on material facts that could affect the sentence.

She had admitted causing grievous bodily harm without intent at a hearing in August. Two further charges of attempted murder and wounding with intent, denied by Mcilwee, remain on file.
