An alleged drunk driver has been arrested after police found him eating a Chinese takeaway whilst driving, moments after he reportedly crashed into a Lamborghini.

Thames Valley Police said the driver had allegedly crashed into the Italian sports car on Queen Street in Bicester on Saturday.

The force said the pair began to exchange details before the Lamborghini driver noticed the man was under the influence of alcohol, after which they called police.

Officers soon located the man driving nearby in the "middle of the road", at which point he was stopped and arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Police said the individual had been eating a Chinese takeaway with cutlery when officers stopped him.

It said he then provided a roadside breath sample, which found him to be over the limit for alcohol.

He was then taken to custody, where he refused to give further samples and was subsequently charged for failing to provide, police added.
