Over £700k of cannabis plants found in warehouse

Cannabis plants with an estimated street venue of £705,000 have been found at a warehouse in Grimsby.

Humberside Police said they raided the building on Riby Street on Thursday 21 May after a tip-off.

According to the force, officers immediately searched the property and discovered 1,174 plants suspected to be cannabis..

The cannabis-growing operation was dismantled and police said they were working to identify the individuals involved.

Anyone with any information is advised to contact the police on the non-emergency 101 number.
