Fourth person charged over Coventry murder
West Midlands PoliceA fourth person has been charged in connection with the death of an 18-year-old in Coventry.
Ismail Nabeel, 18, of Coventry, has been charged with murder and attempted murder over the death of Michael Ababio, who was stabbed near Foleshill Library on 22 February.
Nabeel has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Det Inspector Nigel Box said: "Specially trained officers are continuing to support Michael's family and have updated them on the latest developments and charge in the case."
He added: "Officers investigating have continued to work tirelessly to understand exactly what took place in February and lead to Michael's tragic death.
"We are continuing to appeal to anyone who may not have spoken to us yet and has any information that could help our case to please make a report."
Three others have previously been charged with murder and attempted murder.
Mahad Mohammed, 19, and two 17-year-old boys who cannot be named because of their age, appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court last month and have been remanded in custody.
The three entered pleas of not guilty at Warwick Crown Court and a trial date of 1 September has been set.
