Boy, 2, in life-threatening condition after window fall

A two-year-old boy is in a life-threatening condition after falling from a window at a house in Greater Manchester.

An air ambulance took the toddler to hospital following the incident in Buttermere Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, at 17:40 BST on Saturday.

Police said it was not being as treated as suspicious and no arrests have been made.

A spokesman said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident were ongoing.
