Woman dies in hospital following crash with lorry

A woman injured when her car was in collision with a lorry in Aberdeenshire on Friday has died in hospital.

The 73-year-old was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the collision on the A980 Torphins to Banchory road.

Police said she died on Sunday.

Inquiries to establish the full circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
