Woman, 90, dies after horse and cart crash
ISLE OF MAN CONSTABULARYA 90-year-old woman has died in hospital following a crash involving a horse and cart on the Isle of Man, police have said.
Anne Kennedy Woods, who was in the cart, was transferred to the UK for hospital treatment after suffering life threatening injuries in the crash at Killane Road in Ballaugh at about 10:50 BST on 30 July.
Isle of Man Constabulary said she had "sadly succumbed to her injuries" on Wednesday morning.
It added that her family have asked "that their privacy is respected at this difficult time".
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident that have not already spoken to police to get in touch.
