Three injured in two car crash

Three people have been injured in a crash between two cars in North Lincolnshire.

The collision happened near Scunthorpe on Mortal Ash Hill at the junction with Kirton Road at about 12:30 BST on Tuesday.

Humberside Police said the driver and passenger of a white Suzuki were taken to hospital for injuries "that are believed to be life-changing at this time".

The driver of the other car "was also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not thought to be life-changing," the force added.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
