Two men charged after woman raped in Glasgow lane

Two men have been charged after a woman was raped in a lane in Glasgow.

The attack happened near Clyde Place, just south of the River Clyde, at about 01:00 on Sunday 31 May.

Jebril Abdelrahman, 19, has been charged with rape while Denison Charles, 20, has been charged with assault.

Both appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier and made no plea. Abdelrahman was remanded in custody while Charles was granted bail.

Another two men were arrested and released without charge.
