Three people have been arrested following large-scale disorder in a residential area, police say.

The arrests were made in relation to disorder on Welcombe Avenue in the Walcot area of Swindon on Monday.

On Thursday, Wiltshire Police arrested a 22-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 39-year-old woman on suspicion of affray following the execution of a warrant. They remain in custody for questioning.

Police said three other people were previously arrested and had been released on bail in connection with the incident. Anybody with any information about the disorder is asked to contact police.

A spokesperson for the force said residents could expect to see an increased police presence while enquiries are carried out.
