Biker dies in three-vehicle crash on A83 near Tarbert

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a car and two motorcycles on the A83 near Tarbert on Sunday.

A 61-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, and another male rider, 58, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.

The crash happened at about 12:15 and the road was closed for several hours as a result, re-opening around 20:35.

Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
