Residents forced from homes in Omagh security alert

A number of people are being moved from their homes due to a security alert in Omagh, County Tyrone.

Police have confirmed they are at the scene of the alert in Gardenville Avenue.

They said cordons are in place.

Police have asked the public to avoid the area at this time.
