Fire at Fife landfill site still burning

A fire that broke out at a landfill site in Fife on Tuesday afternoon is still burning.

Firefighters spent a second night battling the flames at the facility in Ladybank with the fire covering 656ft x 984ft (200m x 300m) of landfill waste.

Four fire appliances are still at the scene.

Fife Council said the closure of the facility may lead to some short-term disruption to bin collections.
