Three people arrested over death of 26-year-old
Sam Read/BBCThree people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 26-year-old man.
Thames Valley Police said it received reports of a stabbing in Brooklands Road in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, at about 23:20 BST on Thursday.
The man died at the scene and has not yet been formally identified.
A 16-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man, both from Milton Keynes, and a 36-year-old man from Aylesbury have been arrested and are in police custody.
Det Supt Jon Capps said: "At this early stage we do not currently believe there is any threat to the wider public as we have made three arrests and we are not currently looking for anyone else."
He urged people not to speculate while police carry out a "complex investigation".
Ch Supt Emma Baillie added: "We understand there has been a lot of speculation around this incident but we do not believe this murder was racially motivated or there is any threat to the wider public at this time.
"Anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to our officers in the area, at a police station or by calling 101."
