Man struck and killed on motorway
GoogleA man has died after he was hit by a vehicle on a motorway in Greater Manchester.
The 24-year-old was struck between junctions 3 and 4 of the M61 at about 02:25 BST, Greater Manchester Police said.
The driver remained at the scene and no arrests have been made, with an investigation into the circumstances continuing.
Officers appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
