Thousands of people gathered in Glasgow on Saturday to take part in the city's annual Pride march.

Organisers Glasgow Pride said the event marked 30 years to the day since the first march took place in the city.

Attendees included former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, author Val McDermid and comedian Susie McCabe.

The event culminated in Merchant City for festival with performances by Liberty X, Ultrabeat and Honey G.
