Driver arrested after motorcyclist dies in crash
BBCA man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving following a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in East Yorkshire.
The incident happened on Longdales Lane in Ganstead, East Yorkshire, at about 09:15 BST on Wednesday.
A white Mini Cooper was travelling southbound when it was involved in a collision with a red Honda motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction, near the junction leading to the golf course.
The 77-year-old male motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, Humberside Police said.
The arrested man, aged 81, has since been released from police custody under investigation, the force added.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident.
