Objects thrown at vehicles on dual carriageway

Two vehicles have been damaged by objects being thrown at them as they were being driven along a dual carriageway.

Norfolk Police said it was investigating after being called to Horsford Bridge on the A1270 Broadland Northway, which runs through the village north of Norwich, at 18:40 BST on Tuesday.

The vehicles were struck by "unknown items", police said, which smashed the sunroof of one and damaged the window of the other.

"Throwing objects at moving vehicles is both dangerous and criminal," the force warned.

"Such actions can cause drivers to lose control, potentially resulting in serious injury to road users and others nearby."

Anyone who spotted the incident or has dashcam footage has been urged to contact police.

The suspects have not yet been found, police said.
