Large fire breaks out at car body shop

A large fire has broken out at a car body shop off Leeds Road in Bradford - just metres from Bradford Fire Station.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said 12 pumps and supporting crews were called to Stobarts Body Shop on Mulgrave Street at 12:00 BST.

The service advised people to avoid surrounding roads, including Mulgrave Street, Mount Street, Pickhill Street and Seymour Street.

It asked local residents to keep doors and windows closed.
