Thames Water said it was sending a team to look at the issue on Tuesday morning

Some homes in a Cotswold village are currently without water as temperatures of 30°C are forecast.

Thames Water has apologised to customers in Bourton-on-the-Water, who are dealing with no supply or low pressure in their homes.

The utility company said it had received 185 calls from the village on Tuesday morning and, in an update shortly before 10:00 BST, said its engineers had located the burst.

"We know how disruptive it is if you lose your water supply, so we'll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can," Thames Water said.
