Police said a quad bike, similar to the one pictured, was taken from Praa Sands

An RNLI quad bike has been stolen from a beach car park in Cornwall.

The vehicle, often used in life-saving rescues, was taken from the Sydney Cove car park at Praa Sands on 6 or 7 May, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the theft or who has spotted the vehicle being ridden or offered for sale to contact the force.

"Police are investigating the theft of the Honda TRX420 quad bike registration WK72 RRX," a force spokesperson said.
