Three arrests after two men badly hurt in shooting
BBCTwo men have been taken to hospital with bullet wounds after a shooting in Coventry.
Three men, aged 25, 24 and 22, were arrested following violence on Robert Mountford Way, Tile Hill, on Wednesday evening, said police.
They were called to the area shortly after 20:30 BST and found one man with a bullet wound to his chest, which the force said could be life-threatening.
A second man was shot in his leg but his condition was not believed to be as critical, the force added.
The three men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody.
The spokesperson said residents might face some disruption while inquiries are carried out in the area.
"We understand incidents of this nature are concerning to the community and we will have extra patrols in the area today and over the coming days to offer reassurance," they added.
