Police are investigating reports a drone pilot was aggressive towards another member of the public at a popular dolphin-spotting site in the Highlands.

Officers said the man was approached while flying a drone at Chanonry Point, near Fortrose, at about 13:40 on Saturday 21 March.

Police Scotland said an argument broke out and the drone pilot acted in an "aggressive manner".

The force urged anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.

Chanonry Point, on the Black Isle, draws wildlife enthusiasts in summer because bottlenose dolphins can be seen feeding close to the shore.
