Climber rescued from quarry after 5m fall
Buxton Mountain Rescue TeamA climber was rescued from a quarry after falling during an ascent in Derbyshire.
Buxton Mountain Rescue Team said they were called just after 13:40 BST on Sunday to Hoffman Quarry near Buxton.
The climber was reported to have fallen five metres (16ft) and injured their arm. Team members administered first aid and pain relief, then splinted the limb.
The climber was carried on a stretcher and taken to an ambulance, a spokesperson for the rescue team said.
