BBC Studios/James PardonAccording to filings at Companies House, Grenson's office address has been changed from Crown Way in Rushden - where shoes have been made since 2013 - to Central Street in Manchester.
Grenson was founded by William Green in a county synonymous with shoemaking.
In 1895 it built a factory on the corner of Queen Street and Cromwell Road, Rushden, where it stayed for 118 years.
During World Wars One and Two it made boots and shoes for soldiers.
The last family member to work in the business was Heyden Green and in 2011 it was bought by Tim Little.
Little has now stood down as a director, along with his wife Julie Little and Guy Hutchings.
