Boy arrested after man stabbed in suburb

A teenage boy has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Derby.

Derbyshire Police said it was called to reports a man had been assaulted in Peckham Gardens, Mackworth, just after 20:00 BST on Wednesday.

The force said a man in his 30s was found with stab wounds, but added the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said the boy had been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remained in custody.
