Steven Stocker is serving a six-year sentence for burglary offences

Police have appealed for help to find a 43-year-old prisoner who has absconded.

Steven Stocker was reported missing to Suffolk Police on Saturday after being absent at a roll call at HMP Hollesley Bay, a category D open prison.

Stocker, who has connections to London, is serving a six-year sentence for burglary offences.

He is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build with hazel eyes. He has black hair and was last seen with a full beard.

The force has urged people not to approach Stocker but to contact police immediately.
