Teens arrested in connection to sexual assault

Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection to a sexual assault.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to a report of a woman having been sexually assaulted in the Carlton Way area of Liskeard, Cornwall.

Officers were called at about 20:10 BST on Wednesday and following extensive inquiries, three teenage boys aged 15, 14 and 13 were taken into custody.

Police said residents in the area would continue to see an increased police presence whilst they carried out inquiries and "provide reassurance to the community".

The victim is being supported by specially trained officers, police added.
