Thousands of music-lovers have descended on Southsea Common for the three-day festival

Victorious Festival is under way on Southsea Common in Portsmouth.

Festival-goers enjoyed the blue skies and sunshine on Friday as The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft topped the bill.

The Black Keys headline on Saturday with Club Foot rockers Kasabian set to close the three-day festival on Sunday.

Up to 80,000 ticket holders are expected to go each day.

The festival is not escaping a change in the summer weather with rain and thunderstorms forecast at times during Saturday and Sunday.
