Man dies and skip lorry driver injured in crash

A man in his 70s has died after his car collided with a skip lorry.

His Skoda Karoq estate was heading towards Attleborough on the B1077 at Great Ellingham when it crashed with the lorry, which was going in the opposite direction, at 13:55 BST on Tuesday.

The driver of the skip lorry, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries. Road closures were in place until shortly after 23:00 BST.

Norfolk Police would like to speak to witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
