Two teenagers were arrested following the fatal stabbing in Redditch

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a man in Worcestershire.

Police were called to Martley Close, Redditch shortly after 08:35 BST on Tuesday after reports that a 41-year-old man had been stabbed.

He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries. The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is scheduled to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

A second 17-year-old boy has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with the incident.
