Three people were left injured in Bradford after a car failed to stop for police and crashed.

The collision happened on Leeds Road at about 00:25 BST on Saturday, West Yorkshire Police said, and involved a Volkswagen Golf car and a Skoda.

The Volkswagen did not stop for officers and "immediately" hit the other vehicle, according to the force.

Two men in the Volkswagen were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the spokesperson added, with a man in the Skoda treated in hospital for a leg injury.

Investigations into the crash remain ongoing by the force's roads policing unit.
