A trampolining centre in Inverness has announced it will be closing its doors next month.

Infinity Trampoline Park has been operating in the Carse area of the city for almost a decade.

Management said the reality of running a business had become increasingly difficult due to tax rises, cost increases and red tape.

The centre's doors are due to close on 4 May.

Infinity Trampoline Park said rising costs had influenced the decision to close

In a statement posted online Infinity Trampoline Park said they had welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and had been proud to be part of the Inverness community.

But they said that, like many other companies, they had reached a point where the risk, investment and pressure involved in running a business simply no longer made sense.

"Taxes have risen, costs increase year after year, and businesses face more and more regulation and red tape - all of which take time and drive up costs further," they added.

"Taxes, energy costs, wages, insurance, business rates and supplier prices have all climbed dramatically. Yet at the same time, many businesses are unable to pass those costs on to customers."
