City centre's Low and No bars are on the map

A series of maps have been created highlighting some of the pubs and bars in Hull that offer good selections of low and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Low and No Alcohol Zones have been produced in response to such drinks more than doubling in popularity since 2020, Hull City Council said.

They replace the Low Ale Trails, which were also designed to make it easier for people to find low and non-alcohol options in the city.

Pubs and bars in the city centre, the Theatre Quarter and the Avenues are included on the maps.

The venues can be identified by yellow and black stickers on the windows.

Linda Chambers, the council's portfolio holder for public health, said: "The bank holiday weekend is the last one before the festive season, and we know many people will be out and about in the city, making the most of it.

"The Low and No-Alcohol Zones are perfect for anyone either planning a totally alcohol-free session or mixing low and no-alcohol options with alcoholic drinks."
