Snake Pass closed after motorbike and car crash

A section of Snake Pass has been closed following a crash involving a motorbike and a car.

Derbyshire Police said it was called to a stretch of the A57 Snake Pass between Glossop and Bamford, Derbyshire, at 17:23 BST on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the force said a motorcyclist had been taken to hospital and was undergoing treatment.

Snake Pass is closed in both directions between Glossop and Bamford, and people have been urged to avoid the area.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service, and an air ambulance also attended the scene, police said.
