Temperatures have soared across the region over the last few days with people getting outdoors and enjoying the bank holiday weekend.

Gardens are blooming, birds are singing and boxes of ice creams have been bought by the freezer load.

Our Weather Watchers have been out capturing lovely scenes across north-east England and Cumbria - here are just some of their efforts.
