A motorcyclist in his 60s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Ballymena, County Antrim.

He was Jim Wylie who was from the local area, according to police.

His motorcycle was in collision with a car on Crankill Road at about 10:25 GMT on Monday.

The emergency services attended, but Mr Wylie was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has since reopened to traffic and police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash or has footage which may assist with their investigation to contact them.
