Smoke warning as fire torches 200 tonnes of straw

The fire broke out in Kimbolton on Friday evening

Firefighters have been tackling a blaze affecting about 200 tonnes of straw.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said it broke out in Stow Road, Kimbolton, on Friday evening.

"It's likely to burn for some time, so smoke will be seen for a number of hours," it wrote on Facebook.

People living nearby have been advised to close their windows and doors due to the smoke.
