Firefighters tackle blaze on industrial estate

Firefighters are tackling a fire on an industrial estate in Northampton.

In a post at 19:50 BST on Saturday, Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was dealing with a fire in a property on the Lodge Farm Industrial Estate in Duston, about two miles (3km) north-west of the town centre.

It advised people nearby to close doors and windows due to the smoke from the fire.

It said the nearby A428 Harlestone Road was closed between The Hart pub and the Lidl crossroads.
