Police cordon in place after overnight incidents

A police cordon closes Ramshill Road in Scarborough

Police have closed two roads in Scarborough.

Ramshill Road has been cordoned off from the junction of St Martin's Place to Royal Avenue. North Way has closed from the traffic lights to the town centre police station.

North Yorkshire Police asked the public to avoid these areas. The BBC has contacted police for more information.

Bus company East Yorkshire Buses said it would be unable to serve the Ramshill stops due to the closures.
