Boy seriously injured in stabbing
BBCA 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with "serious injuries" after a stabbing in Nottingham.
Nottinghamshire Police said it was called to Coventry Road, in Bulwell, at about 17:30 BST on Friday.
The boy was taken to hospital and a cordon, which has since been lifted, was placed around the scene.
The force said it had launched an investigation and asked anyone with information to contact the force.
Ch Insp Blackstock said: "This investigation is in its early stages and we are working hard to establish exactly what happened.
"Officers are working in the area to gather evidence and we would also like to speak to any witnesses who have yet to come forward."
