Murder arrests after pedestrian killed in crash
BBCTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Doncaster.
South Yorkshire Police was called to Prince's Street just after 20:30 BST on Friday to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a silver Hyundai.
The pedestrian, a 26-year-old man, died in hospital, the force said.
Police confirmed two men, aged 30 and 22, had been arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 20-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders.
They all remain in police custody.
Officers have asked witnesses and those with dashcam footage of the scene to come forward.
