A life-size Lightning McQueen car like the one in the Disney film Cars will take centre stage at an event in Hull this weekend.

The Geek Experience, which features a Comic-Con and card trading event, is returning for its fourth year at Trinity Market, from 10:00 until 16:00 BST on Saturday.

Mark Allison and Mike Brown, who run the Luckbox inside the market, launched the free festival after they noticed ticket prices for other card shows had increased.

Brown said: "This is something for us to give back to our community... we just like to do things for everyone and make people smile."

Speaking on BBC Radio Humberside, Brown added: "We just wanted to support the people that supported us and helped us grow as a shop and come from nowhere."
