An 18-year-old woman who died following an incident with a loading vehicle was "loved by all who knew her", her family has said.

Tallulah Bradford died of her injuries six days after the incident at about 00:30 BST on 13 June in Chalkwell Park, Southend-on-Sea.

In a statement, her mother and family said: "Tallulah always lived her best life, had a beautiful soul and life will never be the same without her."

An 18-year-old man from Westcliff-on-Sea and a 17-year-old boy arrested in connection with the incident remain on bail until September, said Essex Police.

"She was an amazing sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin and was loved by all who knew her," her mother continued, on behalf of their family.

"Losing Tallulah has left a hole in many hearts that could never be filled but we will forever be grateful for the memories we have made with her. We will miss her eternally."

She thanked the emergency services who cared for her daughter "when she needed it most".

Tallulah's friends also paid tribute to the young woman.

Macie said they had been best friends since they first met at school, aged five.

"Growing up we shared so many secrets, laughter, good times and memories that will be cherished for a lifetime," she said.

Another, Shannon, described her as "kind-hearted, caring, generous" and more like a sister than a friend.

And a third friend, Mya, remembered Tallulah's "kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit".

Officers are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV, dashcam or other footage of the incident to get in contact.
