Tributes paid to motorcyclist who died in a crash
Hertfordshire PoliceThe family of a motorbike rider who died in a collision at an A-road junction said he "brought joy to everyone who knew him".
Police were called to the A1001 South Way in Hatfield, Hertfordshire at 15:10 BST on 1 April after a white Yamaha motorbike and a black Lexus crashed at the junction with Bishops Rise.
Stephanos Tsirpis, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 50-year-old man from Pinner arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been bailed pending further inquiries.
In a tribute, his family said: "Steph was full of heart for his wife, his family and friends.
"He loved life... with his cheeky smile, infectious laugh, humour and love of cooking.
"He adored his wife and soulmate Lisa, was a devoted son to Kyriacos and Yiota, a beloved son-in-law, a cherished brother, a fun-loving uncle, and a loyal friend to so many.
"Steph lived life on his own terms, with warmth, humour and generosity."
Det Con Neil Crosier from Hertfordshire Police said: "We are continuing to appeal for witnesses as we work to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
"If you have any information or dashcam footage, please report it."
