Police appeal for help tracing shooting suspect

Police have appealed for the public's help in finding a suspect and a car they were believed to have been driving to flee the scene of a shooting.

A man in his 30s was injured after a gun was fired at the door of a property on Montgomery Street, in the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham, at about 19:20 GMT on 26 March.

His injuries have been described as not life-changing or threatening.

West Midlands Police has said officers believe the person who fired the gun arrived and left the scene in a black Kia Sportage.

Anyone with information about the shooting, vehicle or suspect has been urged to contact police.
