Murder arrest after man dies at student flats
Luke Deal/BBCA man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a death at an accommodation block for students and professionals.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man with a stab wound at Somerleyton House in Somerleyton Street, Norwich at about 05:20 GMT.
Norfolk Police said the man, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene and a man in his 20s had been detained.
The force added a number of people were being temporarily moved from their homes while inquiries continued.
Officers could be seen inside the building, which contains 59 bedrooms split across multiple flats, while vehicles including a forensic services van were parked outside.
The accommodation operator has been contacted by the BBC.
Supt Sonia Humphreys said: "We know this is upsetting and may cause concern in the community.
"You will see officers at the scene working to establish the exact circumstances over the next few days."
A force spokesperson said on Sunday the incident was believed to be an "isolated event with no wider risk to the local community".
